All students come to music once a week for 45 minutes. In that time, we explore singing, playing instruments, improvisation, composition, and movement.

We learn about music history and different genres, as well as how to appreciate music from many different cultures and time periods.

All students in Kindergarten through 5th grade at Montclair play Ukuleles! Students are welcome to bring their own for our Ukulele unit (more info on when we will begin!), but it is not a requirement.

Each grade level has several musical experiences to participate in each school year!

Students in grades 3-5 have the opportunity to join our chorus.
