Battle of the Books
The Battle of the Books is a dynamic program designed to ignite a passion for reading and enhance literacy skills among young students. By engaging in friendly competition, the program encourages students to explore various genres and authors, fostering a lifelong love of literature.
  • When:  Meetings will be held on Tuesday mornings at 7:45 a.m. starting on Tuesday, October 6th. 
  • Where:  Montclair Elementary Library 
Semi Final information will be shared as soon as we know.
 
Chorus
Montclair Chorus begins October 6th for students who signed up in fourth and 5th grade. Please email Mrs. Shotwell for info and questions regarding concerts. 

 

Monty Steppers
Established in the fall of 2024, the Montclair Monty Steppers are a vibrant, diverse, and dynamic group of third, fourth, and fifth-grade students who are passionate about the art of stepping. Our performances are a thrilling fusion of African American cultural elements, combined with various music and dance traditions from around the world. What makes us truly unique is that every step is crafted and led by our talented team members, showcasing their individual flair and innovation. Each member brings their unique talents and boundless enthusiasm, making our team a vibrant unit.  

 

Robotics
In our elementary Robotics Club, students build their own LEGO robots, program movements using block coding, and tackle exciting missions that spark creativity and problem solving. We celebrate inclusion, teamwork, and fun as these future innovators dream big, engineer boldly, and bring their bots to life!

 

Application are due Friday Oct 2nd. Students will be notified prior to October 15th's first practice. Practices are Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:45.
